Pay and Send Updated

We have updated the Pay and Send action flow and want to share the details with you. Pay and Send is a popular option for quick-service business or other relevant scenarios. In the past, the app would send the orders to the kitchen immediately when you clicked on Pay and Send. However, this could raise two issues. 1) The customer failed to make a proper payment (such as insufficient fund in their bank), 2) The printing loop is busy sending data to the kitchen and delay opening your cash drawer in a cash payment.

In addressing these issues, we have updated the app to only send the tickets when the order is paid. However, we also learned from you that some of you prefer to have the tickets send to kitchen right away as the kitchen efficiency is more critical to your business. So we have added a control in the back office that allow you to decide on whether holding tickets or not.

Please go to the Printing Setting and edit the control as you wish. Please note that a minimum app version of 5.74 is required.
